EFT- The Basic Recipe
1. The Setup: While continuously TAPPING on the Karate Chop (KC) point, or RUBBING the Sore Spot (SS) ...Repeat 3 times this affirmation: "Even though I have this (state the problem ), or “ Even though I still have some of this_(problem)_ that's okay, because I deeply and completely accept myself.”
The
Karate chop point is the fleshy side of the hand
To get close to the "Sore Spot" speard
you arms straight out, and bring your thumbs in over the breast. As you rub
around, you'll feel the tender spot.
2. Following the set-up phrase, using 3 fingers, firmly tap on the following points 7 or 8 times repeating the "reminder phrase, (this pain, or this anger, or this urge, etc)
In the unlikely event there are no results, or, more likely, if the results become stymied, then use the 9 Gamut Procedure. The gamut point is the valley between the little finger knuckle and ring finger knuckle.
3. The 9 Gamut Procedure (This procedure usually only needs to be used once per issue) ...Continuously tap on the Gamut point while performing each of these 9 actions: (1) Eyes closed (2) Eyes open (3) Eyes hard down right (4) Eyes hard down left (5) Roll eyes in circle (6) Roll eyes in other direction (7) Hum 2 seconds of a song (8) Count to 5 (9) Hum 2 seconds of a song.
4. Repeat the reminder sequence (again) ...Tap about 7 times on each of the following energy points while repeating the Reminder Phrase at each point. EB, SE, UE, UN, Ch, CB, UA, TH, IW
